Today is Easter Monday. In today’s reading, we see how Jesus met Mary Magdalene and the other Mary. They were the first two witnesses.
The two women ran overjoyed to announce the news to the other disciples. What happened is that Jesus returned to earth after his resurrection from the dead.
Jesus stayed for 40 days, appearing to believers, giving them ministry and helping them to establish the Church. After these 40 days, which is the Easter season we celebrate, Jesus ascended to Heaven.
Feeling the presence of the Spirit of truth, now we hold our Rosaries, we implore the Virgin Mary’s protection in this pandemic, to say to Joyful Mysteries.
