Friends of the Rosary:
Today’s Rosary is prayed from Caleruega, Spain, the birthplace of St. Dominic of Guzman, who received the Rosary from the Blessed Virgin Mary in the thirteen century.
Today, we observe the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord. This celebration foretells the glory of the Lord as God and His Ascension into heaven.
It anticipates the glory of heaven, where we shall see God face to face.
A year before His sacred Passion, Jesus took with him St. Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, Sts. James and John, and led them to a retired mountain. In this place, the Man-God appeared in His glory.
The Apostles would later understand that they would be glorified with Him only if they first suffer with Him.
Jesus, I Trust In You!
