Yesterday, we celebrated the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes. St. Bernadette, the visionary child of Lourdes, reported that she prayed the Rosary with the Blessed Virgin. Imagine that eternal moment.
The Immaculata spoke to St. Bernadette in the Lourdes’ dialect which the child saint grew up with, and prayed the Our Father and the Glory Be. Naturally, the Virgin didn’t say the Hail Mary. She wouldn’t pray to herself.
Bernadette stated that a golden rose rested on each of Our Lady’s feet. When Bernadette asked the Virgin her name, she said: “I am the Immaculate Conception.”
