Friends of the Rosary:

It is natural to have doubts. Authentic faith wrestles with doubt from time to time.

We’re flawed humans, wounded by the original sin. All the saints experienced dryness and even loneliness and darkness in their dwelling to holiness. In his extreme humanity, Jesus Christ thought for a second that His Father abandoned him.

The quintessential question is this: when we doubt, are we looking for answers or an excuse to opt-out? Seeking answers will grow our faith. Healthy faith asks questions.

We need faith in the absence of certainty. This modern society of ours demands proof and certainty of everything. This thought results in separating millions from God.

Let’s cultivate the virtue of perseverance, the fruit of the fifth mystery that we pray for today.

Ave Maria!

Today, we pray for the parents of Therese Anne, who is part of our community. They are uncertain about where God may be leading them. We pray for their business and employment opportunities.
