When we offer our suffering to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for the conversion of sinners, we don’t know what happens exactly.
Jesus revealed that every saved soul means a great joy in Heaven. Just picture the sick in hospitals offering everything they got — essentially, their damaged health — to Jesus and Mary.
The Divinity works wonders with the efforts of their children, especially when they are the sick, the weak, and the abandoned. The salvation of souls is a deep mystery.
What’s clear is that the pain, suffering, and sacrifices offered make us closer to Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary. The Sorrowful Mysteries are all about it.
Everyone carries their own crosses, but those who additionally carry others’ crosses imitate more profoundly Jesus Christ, becoming examples of living sanctity.
